Applicants who wish to apply to UHCO will be given access to the supplemental application via our website (www.opt.uh.edu). Applicants will use the same name and same "PREFERRED EMAIL ADDRESS" as used on the OptomCAS application along with their OptomCAS ID. In addition, applicants will be asked to create a password for use with the supplemental application.
Since 1952, the University of Houston, College of Optometry has trained more than 3800 optometrists to provide the highest quality vision and eye care. UHCO offers a variety of degree programs including Doctor of Optometry (O.D.), a combined Doctor of Optometry/Doctor of Philosophy (O.D./Ph.D., Master of Science (M.S.), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).

In addition, UHCO provides vision care at 5 external clinics in Houston and Dallas.
