OptomCAS is the Optometry Centralized Application Service. Through this service applicants may file one application and send it to multiple optometry programs. The schools and colleges of optometry will be able to process applications more efficiently.

All 20 schools and colleges of optometry will participate.

***Important Notice to OptomCAS Applicants***

The 2010-2011 OptomCAS application cycle opened on July 15, 2010. Individuals who previously applied to optometry school in the 2009-2010 application cycle and wish to re-apply for the 2010-2011 application cycle must complete an entirely new application. Application data from previous OptomCAS applications are not carried over to the current application cycle. You must submit a new web-based application including all new required documents.
